Children’s Mental Development

Is your child struggling with concentration, emotional regulation, sleep, behaviour or learning difficulties?

Every child develops differently. Some children experience challenges with attention, behaviour, emotional regulation or learning that can affect their confidence, relationships and everyday life.

For children with ADHD, these challenges can be particularly difficult to navigate, not only for the child but for the entire family.

At Resolve Health Naturopathy, we recognise that children’s health and development involve much more than behaviour and concentration alone.

Nutrition, sleep, nervous system regulation, physical activity, gastrointestinal health and nutritional status can all influence how children feel and function.

Whether your child has an ADHD diagnosis, is undergoing assessment or is experiencing developmental and behavioural challenges, our aim is to provide personalised support that considers their individual needs.

How We Differ

ADHD and neurodevelopmental conditions are becoming more and more common. We have to ask ourselves why. Is it as simple as we can diagnose it better or it is more tested for? Or is there more to the picture that isn’t being discussed.

At Resolve Health Naturopathy, we don’t just support neurotransmitter. We also support the nutritional and physiological processes involved in their natural production, regulation and function.

Children’s development is extremely important! Their brains aren’t the same as adults, the pathways are still not fully developed. By supporting the natural growth of these pathways and focusing on children’s development we can create an internal environment that is best for your child.

Sleep disturbances, inadequate dietary intake, iron deficiency, thyroid dysfunction and other health concerns can sometimes contribute to difficulties with attention, energy, mood and behaviour.

All of these can alter the way dopamine, serotonin and other neurotransmitters function in the body.

Our goal is not to change who your child is, but to help create an environment where they can thrive and give them back their power to grow.
