How We Differ
Menopause is a natural physiological transition, but that doesn’t mean the symptoms associated with it should simply be accepted.
Many women are told that their symptoms are caused by declining oestrogen levels. While hormonal changes play a central role, the reality is often more complex.
During perimenopause, oestrogen and progesterone levels can fluctuate considerably before eventually declining. These changes interact with the nervous system, thyroid function, glucose regulation, lipid metabolism, sleep, bone health and other physiological systems.
This means that two women experiencing the same hormonal transition can have very different symptoms.
This is why, at Resolve Health Naturopathy, we take a broader approach.
Rather than focusing exclusively on balancing hormones, we investigate the different physiological factors that may be contributing to your symptoms.
We use comprehensive clinical assessments and functional blood work analysis to investigate nutritional deficiencies, thyroid function, metabolic health and more.
It is often that, by nourishing the rest of the systems of the body, we can see a reduction of menopausal symptoms.
Our aim is to identify opportunities for targeted nutritional, herbal and lifestyle interventions that support your health throughout the menopausal transition, alongside appropriate medical care.
